Compress Image to 100 KB

Get any photo or scan under 100 KB while keeping as much detail as possible. The tool first lowers the JPEG quality and only reduces the dimensions when that is not enough.

Where a 100 KB limit is used, and how to meet it

100 KB is a frequent limit for visa and e-government photos. The Saudi eVisa photo specification, for example, lists a size between 5 KB and 100 KB at 200 × 200 pixels. Requirements change, so check the official page of the service you are using.

If the form also fixes the dimensions (like 200 × 200 px), resize to exactly those dimensions first with “Resize image”. A small image like that usually fits well under 100 KB at high quality.

Some forms ask for supporting documents of up to 100 KB, such as a handwritten declaration. For several pages, convert the images to one PDF and compress the PDF instead.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my result 97 KB and not exactly 100 KB?

JPEG quality comes in steps, so the tool picks the highest quality whose file is at or below the limit. A file slightly under the limit is the intended result.

Is 100 KB here the same as on the website I'm uploading to?

Fyluxo counts 1 KB as 1,024 bytes (102,400 bytes for 100 KB). If a site counts 1,000 bytes per KB, set the target to 97 KB to be safe.

Can I compress many photos to 100 KB at once?

Yes. Select several images and download them all as a ZIP. The number of files per batch depends on your plan.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser; the images never leave your device.
