Compress Image to 200 KB

Photos and scanned documents under 200 KB
200 KB is a typical upload limit on government and employer portals. Bahrain's LMRA, for example, states a maximum image size of 200 KB for uploads to its expatriate management system. US visa photos must be 240 kB or less, so a 200 KB target leaves a safe margin. Check the current official requirements before you upload.
Scanned documents: text stays readable at 200 KB for a single page at normal resolution. If the portal accepts PDF, combining pages into one PDF and compressing it is often better than sending several images.
Phone photos are often several megabytes. The tool keeps the full dimensions when quality reduction is enough and scales down only when it has to.
Frequently asked questions
My file is already under 200 KB. Will it get worse?
The tool re-encodes at the highest quality that fits, so the result looks the same. The result screen also tells you when the original was already under the limit.
How do I make a multi-page scan smaller than 200 KB?
Convert the pages to one PDF with “JPG to PDF” and then use “Compress PDF”. You can go straight from the result screen with “Continue with”.
Does 200 KB here match the website's limit?
Fyluxo uses 1 KB = 1,024 bytes. If a site uses 1,000 bytes per KB, set 195 KB to be safe.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Compression runs in your browser; your files never leave your device.
